Welcome to Obuntu Hub

A youth innovation hub that empowers young entrepreneurs by providing co-working space, practical skills & a supportive community.

Who we are

Who we are

Obuntu Hub is inspired by the notion of “obuntu” which can be translated as “collective progress.” We conceived the hub as a catalyst to drive collective progress for entrepreneurs and the community at large. Our focus is on empowering young entrepreneurs who innovate through tech or unique business models.

A Supportive Community

We believe that entrepreneurship requires an ecosystem. It takes a village. We are building a community of mentors, investors, corporates and public organisations to empower young entrepreneurs to realise their potential. We are currently developing Ignite mentorship programme – join us!

Practical Skills Development

We have developed a unique training model called Class Enterprise Model. Participants simulate an enterprise and have to organise a social activity. They practice what they have learned through: Jijenge (entrepreneurship skills training) and Maisha Yangu (life skills training). The trainings end with a micro-grant pitching competition with invited investors.
